Teenagers make SmartWatch - which Tech Giants Could Not So far

Androidly SmartWatch beats big Tech Giants

While we have been listening to rumors and speculations about much touted smart watches to be launched by either Apple or Google, unknown teenagers in India break the thaw and come up with a working SmartWatch that makes calls and comes with a built in camera.

Called Androidly, the device comes with Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and a camera built-in.

Wearers can also make and receive phone calls on the Androidly device

The £150 watch can also be used as a phone to make calls and send texts using a phone SIM card and packs up to 16GB of storage.

So this really is a shame for experts and engineers hired by tech giants who may be minting fortunes in the name of developing a smart watch from either Apple, Sony or Google.

Although other smart watches, including the Pebble and Sony's Live Watch, can wirelessly connect with mobile phones, Androidly is the first to come with the operating system fully integrated.

Androidly has a 2-inch screen and comes with a 2MP camera. It runs on an older version of the Android operating system called Android 2.2 Froyo.

Users can also downloads apps to their watch to upgrade its capabilities.
