HP Slate 7 price slashed by $30

HP Slate 7 price slashed by $30

In view of the competitive market, where bigger scree tablets and smartphones are available in abundance, HP has decided to slash the price of its Slate 7 to $140.

It may be added that HP launched the Slate 7 in April priced at $170 - but as I said before, the market is too volatile and infested with bigger screens. HP there fore decided to reduce the Slate 7 price by $30 to remain competitive in the market.

The HP Slate 7 is powered by a dual-core 1.6GHz Rockchip RK3066 processor, a 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal memory and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as the operating system of choice.

For those who want more storage space, the 16GB model would now cost you $170 instead.
