Acer held a press conference in New York City today to unveil a wide range of products that include a notebook, ultrtabook and a tablet.
It is reported that the products introduced by Acer today include the Acer Aspire R7, which is a Windows 8 notebook that features a 15.6-inch screen. The notebook is mounted on an ezel hinge to allow the user to adjust the screen to whatever angle is most comfortable for them.
The screen is also flippable, which makes it possible for you to share the R7’s screen with someone sitting across from you, or even lay the screen flat in order to collaborate with someone else.
The second product is the Acer Aspire P3 - an ultra-convertible ultrabook that features an Intel Core i3 or i5 processor and is able to be used in three different methods: as an ultrabook tablet and a slate. Acer says the Aspire P3 will also have a long battery life - but did not say how long would it last.
The third product is Acer’s Android tablet, the Acer Iconia A1, with a 7.9-inch screen equipped with IPS technology. It is equipped with a battery that offers over 8 hours of battery life and is being touted as “everyone’s tablet.” Acer is also making this “everyone’s tablet” with its MSRP of $169, making it an extremely affordable Android tablet.
