George Hotz was the first person who hacked Apple's strongest smartphone iPhone and made headlines - is making headlines again. But this time away from Apple and from his garage with a self-driven car.
In a recent report, he boasts of having built his dream car in just about one month's time.
To many this claim may sound misleading, but whatever the time frame, he has a white 2016 Acura ILX outfitted with a laser-based radar (lidar) system on the roof and a camera mounted near the rearview mirror in his garage.
The car has a joystick protruding where you’d usually find a gearshift, and a 21.5-inch screen attached to the center of the dash.
