Samsung Galaxy S9 may be a modular smartphone

Samsung has gone a long way to capture world market and compete with leading American i Phones. Now it seems that it has something up its sleeve for its upcoming flagship smartphone Galaxy S9.


Yes, something different like modular design. Samsung may be following footstep of Moto Z by Motorolla and may have pins attached at its back for adding modules externally.

For those who do not understand modular technology is smartphones, here is how Wikipedia defines it:

A modular smartphone is a smartphone made using different components that can be independently upgraded or replaced in a modular design. This aims to reduce electronic waste, lower repair costs and increase user comfort.

Well it is just a rumor so far, but one can expect any innovation from Samsung to keep a lead over Apple.
