What is new in Android Jelly Bean 4.3?

Cell phone users of Android family are obsessed with Jelly Bean and its new versions. Those already using Jelly Bean 4.2 are anxiously waiting for an upgrade to Jelly Bean 4.3.

So what is good about the new  version 4.3 that has recently been released by Google or is it really different?

Well many smartphones are laced with 4.3 update and Xperia Z, Xperia ZR, Xperia SP, Xperia ZL, Xperia Ultra Z and Xperia Tablet Z are expected to have it.

Well the new features do seem mouth watering as listed by the Tech Vocal. Some of the new features that Jelly Bean 4.3 has, include:

1. Supports restricted profiles
Well this feature restricts users to one profile only, which allows isolated secure space along with local storage of its own, widgets, settings and home screens.

2. High performance graphics
The new version supports OpenGL ES 4.3 for playing high quality videos and games with extraordinary graphic quality. Presently, these graphics are available only for Nexus 10, Nexus 7 and Nexus 4.

3. Bluetooth Smart Ready
The newer versions have been designed with sensors. These can check heart rate or check if windows are closed.

4. Notification Access
Jelly Bean 4.3 allows display of notifications on the top of their device’s Android display. The notifications that were initially displayed in your status bar will now be displayed on your home screen if users allow that.

5. Better DRM
Google has now made the present DRM better to allow easier integration into streaming protocols. With its new DRM framework APIs and improvements to the existing ones, DRMs are now easier to handle.
