Acer Android Tablet: The Iconia A1 [Hands On Review]

Acer has made headlines yesterday by unveiling three of its latest gadgets  A notebook, ultrabook and a tablet.

Of these let us have a few words on the Iconia A1 Android tablet. The Acer tablet comes with a 8-inch (7.9 inch to be exact) display, capable of 1024 x 768 resolution, with IPS technology - IPS technology allows better viewing from various angles.

The notebook has a 1.2 GHz MediaTek processor - though with only 1 GB of RAM. Iconia A1 will be available in two versions: an 8GB and 16GB , which will retail for $169 and $199, respectively.

The tablet seems to be quite handy with plastic cover. The back of the Iconia A1 is white, while the surrounding rim has a silver lining.

This is the first time Acer has delivered a 7-inch tablet, which means this device would be in direct competition with the iPad Mini, Nexus 7 and the Kindle Fire HD.

We will update you when more is available on Acer Android Tablet: The Iconia A1
