18 years old Stundet Develops Device to Charge Cellphone Battery within 30 SECONDS

Charging cellphone batteries is really cumbersome as it takes a considerable time to charge the drained out battery.

There have been many claims in the past to boost charge the cellphone batteries - but this one is real fast.
Miss Khare with her magic device that charges cellphone battery under 30 seconds

Eesha Khare, 18-year-old high-school student, has successfully devised a super capacitor that’s capable of charging cellphone battery in under 30 seconds!

The super-capacitor developed by Miss Khare may hold the key to recharge a cell phone battery within 20-30 seconds. Amazingly, even at this prototype stage, the technology already can handle 10,000 charge/re-charge cycles which is 10-times greater than most modern day batteries.

She won a $50,000 prize Friday at an international science fair for creating an energy storage device that can be fully juiced in 20 to 30 seconds. Khare now intends to further modify this kind of device to charge future electric cars!

Khare's invention won her the Intel Foundation Young Scientist Award at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, conducted this week in Phoenix, Ariz.
