If a new rumor is to be believed, Sony is working on yet another Xperia Z smartphone that goes by the name, Xperia ZR. Revealed by Xperia Blog, the smartphone is said to borrow the design of Xperia ZL and adopt water and dust resistant properties, similar to Xperia Z
Aside from above features, the biggest change in terms of features compared with it Xperia Z brethren is that the Xperia ZR will ditch the 1080p 5-inch display and will boast a 720p 4.6-inch display instead. Rest of the specs include a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm S4 Pro, 2GB RAM, a 13MP Exmor cam, 8GB storage, microSD and a 2300mAh battery.
Judging from the fact that Xperia ZR might feature a smaller display with less resolution than others in the family, the smartphone might lie somewhere between mid-ranged to high-end devices in terms of cost, making it slightly more affordable for consumers.
