'Ticket to Ride' Now Available for Android Tablets

Good news for Android tablet owners who are also interested in gaming - specially the famous 'Ticket to Ride' - the popular digital board game - so far only available on iPads.

The Android version of Ticket to Ride is available for Android tablets with a minimum screen size of 1024 x 600 running Android OS 4.0.3 or higher. That includes the Nexus 7, Nexus 10 and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. It costs $6.99 to download.

Ticket to Ride will also support online cross-play with iOS, PC, Mac and the Days of Wonder web portal, meaning players can challenge their friends with different devices.

For those new to this famous and much liked game, Ticket to Ride is both a physical and digital board game in which players try to build a dominant railroad network across the United States. Players must race to complete their secret assigned routes between major cities while preventing their opponents from doing the same.

Players can compete online or locally against four different types of AI or use pass-and-play with their friends.
