Samsung Galaxy S4 Geekbench 2 Leave iPhone 5 far behind

The worth of device or gadget is gauged by the benchmark analysis, which have now started to appear as for the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S4.

A latest Geekbench 2 ran by Android Authority has been posted the results on YouTube.

Herein under is the comparison of Geekbench 2 of S4 with other major smartphones of the time reflects a far greater superiority of Galaxy S4 over its contemporaries.

The instant look of the Geekbench 2 above shows Galaxy S to be far above iPhone 5 - rather iPhone 5 seems out of race with other smartphones already in the market like HTC One, LG Nexus 4 and even Samsung Galaxy S3.

The closest to Galaxy S4 is HTC's One. Both the HTC One and the Samsung Galaxy S 4 use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 SoC, although the HTC One runs at a slower speed (1.7 GHz vs. 1.9 GHz). The HTC One is also running an older version of Android (4.1.2 vs. 4.2.2), so the HTC One's performance should improve slightly once it is on the latest version of Android.

It may be added that Android Authority only tested the Samsung Galaxy S 4 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 SoC. It is however not very clear how the Samsung Galaxy S 4 with the new Exynos 5 Octa SoC will perform, but given how the different Samsung Galaxy S 3s performed, it is very likely that the Geekbench score will be similar.

A word about Geekbench marking:
Geekbench provides a comprehensive set of tests engineered to quickly and accurately measure processor and memory performance. Designed to make benchmarks easy to run and easy to understand, Geekbench takes the guesswork out of producing robust and reliable benchmark results.
