Toshiba Portege - an ultrabook worth its price

For just $799.99 (to $876.00), Toshiba Portege Z935-P300 is seemingly a matchless ultrabook of its class when compared other books of similar kind.

Looking at Toshiba Portege, one finds it thin, light and elegant. Inside the ultrabook, it has 1.7 GHz Intel Core i5-3317U processor and 4GB DDR3 and Windows 7 Home Premimum (64 bit) installed.

The 13.3 inches diagonal screen has a dispaly of 1,366x768-pixel native resolution. It has all major components and acceories installed in any ordinary 13-inch category ultrabook - with one drawback that it does not have an optical drive. May be engineers at Toshiba thought that in the rpesence of stick USBs, there is not need for an optical drive. But for who thoese want to burn DVDs, this sure is a miss point.

In its won category, Toshiba Portege has a battery with more than five hours time - which is rather competitive as compared to other machines of same class.

One of the biggest drawback of Toshiba Portege is its keyboard. Those with bigger hands or tuned to bigger 'spread out' keyboards would find themselves handicapped using this machine. The keys are shrunken; they're a normal width, but shortened.

So if you are looking for a low priced yet aggressive and durable 'delivering' machine in 13 inch category, with a few drawbacks, Toshiba Portege Z935-P300 is a ultrabook to try. It won't be a disappointment.
